During the last 4 decades, Mr. Haim Rousso served in various positions in the Israeli Hi-Tech industry, most of the time in the world leading electro-optics company – ELOP.
At 1998 Mr. Rousso was nominated as the CEO of ELOP. For 11 years he led the company new record achievements.
In 2009 Mr. Rousso was appointed as an Executive VP for Technology and Engineering Excellence at Elbit Systems, the largest hi-tech company in Israel.
In 2003 Mr. Rousso received the National “Industry Prize”.
Mr. Rousso served for eight years as a member of the National Council for R&D (NCRD) and three years as a member of the council of the Israeli Innovation Authority.
Mr. Rousso teaches a course on “Management of R&D” in MBA programs in leading universities and colleges in Israel.
In recent years Mr. Rousso is very much involved, on a volunteering basis, in activities that encourage the young generation to study STEM.
He is currently a cochairman of “Photonics Israel” -The association of photonics companies in country.
He gained BSc (1972) and MSc (1976) degrees in Electronic Engineering from the Technion.
